Northamptonshire County Flag

Northamptonshire is a county in the east Midlands of England bordered by Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Leicestershire and Warwickshire.  The main industry was boot and shoe making. Now the area is home to many Formula 1 motor racing teams and Silverstone circuit is situated in the county.

Northamptonshire flag design came from a public competition in 2014 won by Brady Ells and Ian Chadwick, although the rose in the design came from a different entry in the competition. It has a maroon background with gold cross with rose in the centre.

Poly-mesh Northamptonshire County flag is also made from knitted polyester 115 gsm (grams square metre) and  has very small holes across the entire flag  which allows the air to flow through the flag to  flutter rather than whip  in the high winds so they last longer in exposed areas.

Poly Mesh flags are ideal for coastal areas, church towers, roof tops,  harbours and exposed areas.

Anti-fray:

Anti-Fray is optional.  Anti-fray is sewn onto the opposite end of the reinforced flag fixing side  and the mesh takes the wear out of the flag allowing flags to last longer with more durability.
